  1. 528 Hz: what the "love frequency" really is, and how to meditate with a clean tone
  2.
  3. 528 Hz is probably the most searched frequency in sound meditation. Here is a short, factual look at where it comes from and a simple 10-minute practice.
  4.
  5. Where does 528 Hz come from?
  6. It belongs to the Solfeggio frequencies list popularized from the 1970s onward. Its "Mi" note was linked to the Latin "MIra gestorum" ("miracles"), which earned it nicknames like the "miracle tone" and the "love frequency". It is commonly paired with the solar plexus or heart chakra.
  7.
  8. Myth vs fact
  9. - Myth: "528 Hz repairs DNA." This claim comes from popular books, not from solid peer-reviewed research.
  10. - Fact: 528 Hz is a clear, bright, pleasant tone (close to a slightly sharp C5), well suited to a calm, focused meditation.

  12. A 10-minute 528 Hz meditation
  13. 1. Set 528 Hz on a sine wave, at low volume through a speaker.
  14. 2. Sit comfortably, one hand on your chest.
  15. 3. Breathe in for 4, out for 6, for 10 minutes.
  16. 4. With each breath, think of someone or something you are grateful for.
  17.
  18. Why a generator rather than a YouTube track?
  19. Online "528 Hz" videos are compressed, often mixed with music, and sometimes not on 528 Hz at all. A frequency generator plays an exact sine wave at the value you type: enter 528, press OK, and listen through any speaker via the 3.5 mm jack.
